How do I get the dialogue boxes back in Autocad?

I am running Land Development 2006 and I the dialogue boxes are not coming up anymore. I’m talking about the boxes that allow you to navigate the files and folders on your hard drive when you do something like ‘save as’. Now, the command just appears in the command line and I have no way to change the file path unless I type it in.

In Map 3D 2008 you type in FILEDIA and change the setting from 0 to a 1 or a 1 to a 0. You might also try Control 9.

enter ‘filedia’ in the cmd prompt.
    press enter
    write 1
