How do I import AutoCAD DWG/DWF files into Google Sketchup?

It does not show any of my CAD files when I am in the import (file open) dialogue box. Do I need to add AutoCAD files to the settings or something? Please Help!?

You don´t say the version of Sketchup, but maybe you need this complement

    You can’t 🙁
That is if you are using the newest version of Sketchup (7)
Google removed the DWG/DFX import option for the free version. You can do it if you buy the “Pro version”, but not with the free one.

It really sucks too, I use Sketchup fairly often and importing DWG’s was/is a very needed feature. I’m a little mad they removed it, but I guess you can’t complain to much with free software…

You can revert back to an older version of Sketchup but it’s a royal pain to find – I did find older versions after hours of searching though. I reverted back to version 5 and viola dwg import is back..
