How to change unit settings in AutoCAD to millimeters?
Could you please give me a step by step process of how to change the units to millimeter? My drawing has to be in mm and I changed it in the drawing units but when I got to draw it seems the same as inches.

All the drawing units does is tell AutoCAD what units you are using so that when you insert it into another drawing it gets inserted at the correct scale.
If you draw a rectangle 50 units by 30 units, and your units are set to inches, it is 50 x 30 inches. If you change to millimeters, it is then 50 by 30 millimeters.
There are a few ways to interpret your question, so you may want to clarify.
Go to FORMAT, then UNITS. It will bring up a box. Under DRAWING UNITS FOR DESIGN CENTER, choose MILLIMETERS.
