How to draw line by direction in AutoCAD?

It’s been a while since I had to draw something in AutoCAD. I need to draw a survey of a property just to mess around with the design of a commercial for my friend. How to I input line by direction such as 124 feet long, N35d34’45″W something like that. Isn’t it L and then @124

mmm different software and versions, but something like
@124<45.55 nomally 0 degrees is at the 3 oclock direction, but thats a setting, that can be changed to 12 oclock position/direction if you want.
    some software goes
    <124@45.55
on some software you can draw a line, and the command line will put in the equation for it, and you can see the code.
    cheers
