How to protect an AUTOCAD drawing?
Hello ppl.I’m using autocad 2004 and i read on some sites that you can protect your drawings within this application.I mean, for example: when i give a drawing to someone else, he can only see it, but not editing/deleting/etc in it.
Can someone show me the way? Thank you so much.

Go to save as, under tools, security options
You can also just make it read only some people don’t know how to fix this lol
Or you can make a PDF file and let them just look at that.
Send it as a PDF. If they need an AutoCAD file, ask them what purpose they will be using it for. You can also just make the whole drawing a block. Just don’t check the “Allow exploding” box when creating it.
