Michael E. Williams has been using AutoCAD since Release 2.1. He's been providing AutoCAD drafting, training and consulting to the Architectural, Industrial, and Engineering communities for over 20 years. Mike has trained entire drafting departments of a Fortune 500 companies and held classes and seminars for Architects, Engineers and Contractors. He's taken people with zero experience, training or knowledge of drafting, architecture or CAD and turned them into highly productive and knowledgeable drafting professionals. As owner and operator of Michael E. Williams Computer Graphics, he has personally drafted on thousands of projects for hundreds of clients. The tips and tricks he teaches come from personal experience and a pursuit of efficiency and productivity in a production environment. I like to go camping

I would consider myself one of the lucky ones. I do not have to work weekends. There is some overnite travel when training occurs. All in all I work for a fabulous company that treats there employees very well. My leasure time is usually spent catching up with friends and relatives also. Have a great week!

After a long run/marathon of drawings and details and staring at my screens for extended periods of time with the purpose of getting the job done and meeting then time table, aside of reading or movies the next best thing I do is…nothing. At least till I get antsy enough to have to sit back down and draw some more lines!

In the other category I like working in my part time woodworking shop or training horses.

I enjoy making quilts, wall hangings for stress relief and relaxation. I have been doing this on an ongoing basis for 15 years.

Besides going to school several nights a week I enjoy amateur radio (HAM) and Im a member of several radio clubs.

GO TAKE A HIKE!!
That’s the advice I follow, and I also take a camera when I “GO TAKE A HIKE!!!”
There are some wild areas around here and some days you’ll run into all kinds of wildlife, plus the scenery is fascinating. (Wyoming)

I enjoy making home movies of my family, traveling,also fishing.

Family, gardening and art. My kids and husband keep me pretty busy, gardening keeps me calm and art inspires me. Right now I am learning Graffiti so I can finish a mural on the Highschool Sundayschool room.

I love walking my dog, surfing, camping and working on the yard those are very gratifying and destressing tools for me!

Reading is a fun thing for me — to escape the stressors in life for a half hour is great.
I love woodworking and am learning turning.
I am an active Advanced Class radio amateur (Ham) My specialty is contesting.
In the clement months my wife and I are ardent bike-riders. Endorphins.
We enjoy attending local or regional Mensa events.

I like to play with my kids and tinker on my hotrods. I have 5 kids and 5 hotrods and never enough time or money.

Boating and fishing are my weekend activities, down here in Miami most of the time we can go out and enjoy.

I’m neurotic with my work. I love what I do and learning shortcuts! I’m 62 yrs old and have been in the fiield since graduating from a trade school for drafting in 1965. Started with Autocad in late 80’s until present (worked in Microstation for 8 yrs also for different companies).
Just started 2 yaars ago with the best place I’ve ever worked, “International Chimney in Buffalo,NY. I do structural/mechanical/equipment design & layout for new and conversion projects. Internatioal Chimney does some of the largest smoke stacks in US and also has moved several lighthouses, winning awards for the largest and most unusual projects.
Try as I may, my work always crops up in my leisure timeI
I’m a Tai Chi instructor with Taoist Tai Chi Society (worlds largest Tai Chi group) and teach on volunteer basis only. Had the great fortune to meet and study under its founder, Master Moy Lin Shin, a truly enlightened master!
I enjoy spending time with my wife, Duana, and our (8) children and (6) grandkids.
Gotta get back to work before I get in trouble – way behind in a ridiculous schedule.!!

Hey Mike.. deadlines and working the weekends used to be my life for 6 years… I was lucky to become a firefighter in New York City and now work part time for a small Architechural firm… now drafting has become something that I really enjoy (almost like a hobby) ..when I find time to do it..haha.

Hi Mike,
Working for oneself has many advantages which allows me to work around life issues… with any spare time i like to play and sometimes record music… folk music… a wee bit of traditional too… beer is good too especially Porter, but mainly music.
Playing with the boys is always fun, getting out and about in the fields and getting a bit done around the house…
