Comments on Weekly Tips Sheet

Comments on Weekly Tips SheetThis post is for us to discuss our new Weekly Tip Sheet. When you receive it, please give me feedback by posting a comment to this message. Our goal is to provide you with the absolute best tips and tricks possible and to do so in a way that is the most convenient for you. Let me know how we are doing.
The two comments we get most often just so happen to be on the two opposite ends of the spectrum. One is positive and one is negative.
The negative is this: Getting a new email each day is too often. If you get behind on them a little, they start stacking up and you never get around to reading them. Most of the people who unsubscribe do so because of email overload.
On the Positive side, we have lots of people comment that they are saving and cataloging the tips for future reference. Many of our readers are using older versions and will be upgrading soon. We actually have some people collecting them and making them part of their AutoCAD training program for new hires. That’s awesome.
Our new Weekly Tip sheet should solve both of those issues. You will receive a Tip sheet once per week that will contain a tip for each day of the week. This will cut down on the Inbox traffic and also allow for very easy indexing.

Hi Mike
Thanks for the tips you’ve been sending it was really a big help, some of them I’ve already knew and some I never imagine that a command like that ever existed.
A follow up to your question late jan. 20, the version i’m using is autocad 2007 and I’m a draftman in a architectural office of 10 here in Spain. I’ve know autocad for 7 years but it was only this past 3 years that i’ve been using it intensively.
Right now, as this moment I don’t have any tips to share but what i’ll do during work time i’ll have a my pen ready to take notes everytime i’ll encounter a problem or solution in working with Autocad.
Thank you again.

Hey Tim,
Thanks for the concern. It’s been a rough summer. Like many of the subscribers to this site, my business has been hit pretty hard by the recession. I’ve had to focus most of my efforts to my drafting company to help get it through the storm. I think we are on the other side of it now and hope to be able to focus back on this site very soon.
