Come Back Menu Bar and Toolbars
Here’s a video tip for everyone. Video Tips are usually only available to our subscribers (you can subscribe for free in the upper right portion of the screen), but I get asked this question so often by AutoCAD 2009 users. Enjoy:

MIke,
I am using a drawing template of my own design and am wondering how to add color to my logo and plot the rest in mono.
Thank you,
Paul Mahoney
Make sure your logo colors are set to plot with a color pen, and the rest of the colors are set to monochrome. For example, I typically plot using CTB and colors 1-13 are set to plot as varying line weights of black. colors 14-249 are set to plot in their actual color. Colors 250-255 are set to plot in their actual color also, which happens to be shades of gray.
Hey Mike, thanks alot, now I’ll never get used to the blasted ribbon. Not now that I have my beloved pulldowns back. hehe. Actually I am trying to alias more tools so I can be less concerned with their next bright idea on changing the interface.
Great tip.
Nathan
ADT6 moving to ACA8 or 9 then 10 for playing!
Of all the videoclips I’ve seen on this website, the audio of this one is not coming out right. It’s too low even when my speaker is at the maximum. I tried the other videoclips (same website) and they were all in good quality so I know that my computer is not the having a problem.
Anyway, the rest is alright. Thank you for your autocad tips Mike!
Nice post. I need to check this out.
Pretty good going, I’m going to post a quote of your content on my blog (with a link back). I hope that’s ok?
That’s absolutely ok. Thanks.
